  • Main links, public contact details and obvious form problems checked
  • Mobile layout and loading speed spot-checked

Frequently asked questions

Q1Can you find out who hosts my site?

Usually. Send me the web address and I can check public records for the likely domain registrar and hosting provider. If an account needs recovering, I can point you to the provider’s official recovery route.

Q2Do you only work with WordPress?

No. WordPress is the platform I see most often, but you can send me any business site. I will check what it uses and confirm whether I can work on it.

Q3Can you update an old site without rebuilding it?

Often, yes. Text, photographs, contact details, page layouts and forms can usually be changed without replacing the whole site. I will tell you if the current software makes that unsafe or uneconomical.

Q4Can you replace a site that is beyond repair?

Yes. A rebuild can reuse the parts that still work, such as the domain, useful text, photographs and search history, while replacing the design and technology underneath.

Q5What happens if the job is more involved?

I explain what I have found and quote the extra work separately. No additional paid work begins until the revised scope and price are agreed.

Q6Will you need my passwords?

Not for the initial review. I begin with public-facing pages. If you later approve paid work, I will explain what access is needed before anything is shared.

Q7What does the quick SEO scan include?

It checks page titles, headings, indexing signals, internal links and obvious search visibility problems on the public site. It is a useful first look, not a full keyword, competitor or backlink audit.
